Graveside services for Sylvia Fincher Seymore, 86, of Canton were held at 1 p.m., February 2, at Haven of Memories with Bro. Jim Leach officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial was in Haven of Memories, Canton.
Mrs. Seymore passed away January 30, 2012 in Canton.
She was born October 22, 1925 in Oakland Community to William Claude and Matilda Hamblen Fincher. She attended the Oakland Methodist Church and lived the majority of her life in Canton. Sylvia retired from Harvey Industries formerly Curtis Mathis in Athens.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Zera Chaney, Doris Miller and Fay Tull; brothers, Raymond, Vernon, Harvey, Ray and Curtis Fincher.
Survivors include her son, Greg and Julie Seymore; daughters, Suzette Seymore all of Canton, Sandra and Mike Howard of Omaha; granddaughter, Christi McCaffity; grandsons, Jeff and Brad Seymore; step-granddaughter, Andrea Jackson; step-grandson, Tyler Jackson; and four great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Seymore, Brad Seymore, John Fincher, Paul Stevens, Jerry Don Miller and Mike Howard.
