Graveside services for John Bruce Langford, 82, Mesquite, formerly of Wills Point, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 18, at Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas.
Mr. Langford died April 16, 2008.
He was born January 10, 1926 in Wills Point. He retired from his trucking business in 1985.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mildred and Geraldine; and daughter, Sandra Bateman.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Frances Langford; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Charles Lasater, Janet and Al Wiggins, and Kathy Whitaker; brothers, Barney, LeRoy and Wayne; sisters, Melba, JoNell and Bessie Mae; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
