Mary Lois Harris
Services for Mary Lois Doisher Harris, 82, Minden, formerly of Canton, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 25, at Eubank Funeral Home, Canton, with Rev. Mike Simpson officiating.
Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton.
Mrs. Harris died April 22, 2008, in Minden.
She was born July 15, 1925 in Telephone to Hubert Leslie and Noma May Shaw Payne. She was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church, Henderson. She worked as a cashier at Shinn’s Grocery Store in Canton for about 15 years.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara Austin; and great-grandson, Brandon Lee.
Survivors include her husband, Earl B. Harris, Minden; daughter, Shirley Geneva, Amarillo; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Ronald Montgomery, Jeryl Cockerham, Glen Austin, Jerry Lynn Tidwell, Wilber Roe and E.R. Sides.
