Mrs. Pollard died April 18, 2008, in Grand Saline.
She was born February 26, 1912 in Rio Vista to Thomas and Emma Ince Thompson. She was a retired beauty shop owner. She was a member of Eastern Star, Garland Chapter, and Main Street Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W.H. "Henry" Pollard; son, Bob G. McDaniel; daughter-in-law, Dianne McDaniel; brothers, A.O. Thompson and Weldon L. Thompson; and niece, Carolyn Jo.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Phyllis Pollard, Austin; grandchildren, Michael McDaniel, and Elizabeth and John Harper; and five great-grandchildren.
