Services for Albert Jesse Caviness, 78, Irving, formerly of Wills Point, were held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel, Wills Point.
Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Caviness died April 26, 2008, in Irving.
He was born November 23, 1929, in Telephone to Albert Jack and Ruby Payne Caviness. He lived and attended school in Powderly. He married Rosaleen Allen in 1950. He was a resident of Lawton, Okla., while serving in the U.S. Army. After his discharge, he moved to Irving where he worked as a truck driver for Parrott Oil Company. He moved to Lake Tawakoni in 1978. He then moved to Irving.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rosaleen Caviness, in 2006; and sister, Lois Payne.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Ottlynne Caviness, Irving; grandchildren, Chessie Dianne Archer, Jesse Neal Caviness II, Brennan Caviness and Nikki Homberg; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Faye Caviness, Paris; sister, Martha Daughtrey, Denton; and four great-grandchildren.
