Services for Betty Lynn Clark Brinson, 73, Van, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at First Baptist Church, Van, with Rev. Kenneth Meadows and Rev. Mike Calhoun officiating.
Burial was in Marvin Chapel Cemetery under direction of Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.
Mrs. Brinson died April 25, 2008, in Tyler.
She was born January 14, 1935, in Owlet Green Community to Albert Benjamin and Geneva Goode Clark. Formerly of Longview, she was a resident of Van Zandt County since 1972. She was employed as a claims representative with Social Security for 34 years in Tyler and Longview. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Van.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, B.C. Brinson, in 2006.
Survivors include son, David Brinson, Whitehouse; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Carl Bochow Jr., Tyler; stepdaughters, Janita Barnes, and husband B.R., Longview, and Brenda Skonik, and husband Ben, Houston; grandchildren, Clayton Bochow, Kathleen Bochow, Kim Jenkins and Stacy Barnes.
Pallbearers included Robert Baker, Gary Driver, Daniel Driver, John Blackmon, Ron Wilson and Mark Norsworthy.
Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie Johnson, Bill Dickard and Roy Dean Richards.
