Services for Marilyn Buringrud Hein, 59, formerly of Canton, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 28, at Nora Lutheran Church, North Dakota.
Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, N.D., under direction of Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
Mrs. Hein died April 23, 2008, in Fargo.
She was born December 26, 1948 to Nils and Elaine Buringrud. She attended school in Gardner, N.D., and Grandin, N.D., graduating in 1967. She attended Dakota Business College in Fargo. She worked at St. Luke Hospital for more than a year before moving to Texas, where she worked at Texas Gas Company for two years. She married Arthur "Butch" Hein in 1973. She was also employed at Gold Star Assisted Living Center in Canton, the Genesis Center for Battered Women and Children, and was a cook at Canton Elementary School. She owned Hein’s Cleaning Service in Llano.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine.
Survivors include children and their spouses, Michael and Casondra Hein, Lewisville, and Shelly and Chris Terry, Opelika, Ala.; grandchildren, Blake Hein, and Ashlee and Jessica Terry; father, Nils Buringrud, Fargo; sisters, Wanda Hoffman, Lisbon, N.D., and Marcia Buringrud, Fargo; brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Mary, Tower City, N.D., Michael and Eileen, Gardner, and Jon, West Fargo, N.D.
