Services for William Louis "Bill" Schoenky, 47, Brashear, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 28, at Freedom Church of God with Rev. Kenneth Ishmeal officiating, under direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mr. Schoenky died April 24, 2008, in Hopkins County.
He was born July 5, 1960 in St. Louis, Mo., to Lon and Ruth Stockton Schoenky. He married Anita Loren Mitchell in 1993.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Loren Mitchell, Brashear; daughter, Shannon Schoenky, Grapevine; sons, Joey Schoenky and Cole Schoenky, both of Brashear; brothers, Lon Schoenky, Hillsboro, Mo., Jim Schoenky, Dallas, and Steven Schoenky, Aubrey; sisters, Jacque Arnicar, St. Louis, Mo., Debbie Smith, Balch Springs, and Shari Burgess, McKinney; parents, Lon and Ruth Schoenky, McKinney; father-in-law and mother-in-law, M.J. and Barbara Mitchell, Wills Point; and other relatives.
