Services for Robert Pipes, 81, Grand Saline, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9, at Bartley Funeral Home Chapel, Grand Saline, with Bro. David Glidewell and Bro. Ronnie Wheeler officiating.
Burial was in Creagleville Cemetery, Grand Saline.
Mr. Pipes died May 7, 2008, in Grand Saline.
He was born August 26, 1926, in Van Zandt County, where he was a lifelong resident.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lela Pipes Scott; and wife, Irene Pipes.
Survivors include brother, Richard Scott, Fruitvale; sisters, Vesta Bynum and Shirley Whitworth, both of Edgewood; and other relatives.
