Norman Keck

Services for Norman Harold Keck, 85, West Tawakoni, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Mike Moss officiating.

Burial was in Hooker Cemetery, East Tawakoni.

Mr. Keck died May 5, 2008 in Greenville.

He was born on July 22, 1922, in Kansas City, Mo., to Norman Phillip and Susie E. Reed Keck. He was an optician for Associated Optical in Mesquite. He served during World War II and the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Navy. He was of Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in his death by his wife and parents.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Richard Parker, Garland, and Barbara and Anthony Lekkos, South Lake; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Karen Keck, Lone Oak, Dennis and Becky Keck, Wylie, Randy and Judy Keck, Dallas, and Jerry and Debbie Keck, Sunnyvale; stepson, Dale Shelton, Trinidad; brother, William Keck, Leesummit, Mo.; and 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
