Services for Erblene Prater "Toni" Ragain, 83, The Woodlands, were held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 12, at Hilliard Funeral Home Chapel, Vzn, with Rev. Paul Saylors officiating.
Burial was in Union Chapel Cemetery, Van.
Mrs. Ragain died May 8, 2008 in The Woodlands.
She was born September 5, 1924 in Frost to Posey Erbon Prater and Maybelle Wilson Prater. She spent her youth in Lindale, where she grew up, and then moved to Van. She had also been a resident of Canton, Chandler and Athens in previous years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Canton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Ragain in 1985; brother, Ray Prater; and sisters, Dorothy McDougal and Catherine Prater.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Lynn Ragain, Conroe; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Richard Hanson, Canton; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Norris Cash, Holly Lake Ranch; grandchildren, David Heidle, and wife Maria, Lee Heidle, and wife Julie, Jeff Hanson, and wife Courtney, Melony Block, and husband Bob, Nathan Ragain, and wife Melissa, and Phillip Ragain, and wife Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Lynsea, Erica and Jackson.
Pallbearers included grandsons, David Heidle, Lee Heidle, Jeff Hanson, Nathan Ragain, Phillip Ragain and Bob Block.
Memorials may be made to church or charity of choice.
