Memorial services for Glynda Joyce Briggs Scott, 64, Wills Point, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home Chapel, Terrell, with David Chisholm officiating.
Mrs. Scott died April 17, 2008, at her residence.
She was born February 23, 1944 in Dallas to Glynn Weldon and Burnace Edith Kellam Conyers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Alvin C. Wilson.
Survivors include her husband, Dewayne Scott, Wills Point; children, Daphne Dureau, and husband Alton, Lacombe, La., Diana Whitver, Garland, Denise Rice, Florida, and Eldon Briggs, and wife Kathy, Mesquite; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Jodella Wilson, and husband Carl, Wills Point; and other relatives.
