Memorial services for Norman Claude Prather, 69, Cash, were held at 3 p.m. Friday, November 7, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery under direction of Quinlan Funeral Home.
Mr. Prather died November 4, 2008.
He was born February 9, 1949 in Athens, Ga., to Odell and Mattie Addison Prather. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded a Purple Heart. He worked as a postman. He was of Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings.
Survivors include his wife, of 15 years, Lina Prather, Cash; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Jessica Prather, Edgewood; daughters, Trisha Prather, and husband John, Quinlan, Mellissa Myers, and husband Robert, Carol Eskridge and Patricia Baker, all of Seagoville; grandchildren, Jessalyn, Blake and Brodie Prather, Ceoinna Lewis, Jodi Clark, Chad and Cory Myers, Brooke Howell, Trysten Baker, and Zachary and Jaxon Eskridge; and four siblings.
