Stella Ida Donat, 103, of Wills Point, passed away on October 21, 2009, in Wills Point. No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She was born April 16, 1906, in Schuyler, Nebraska, the daughter of Jacob Helus and Anna Kleich Helus. She was raised in Nebraska. On August 22, 1925, she married Joseph Donat in Brainard, Nebraska. Stella later moved to Texas. She enjoyed writing poetry, dancing and playing the accordion. She lived in Wylie prior to moving to Wills Point eight years ago. She was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Donat; four sisters, Bessie Thieman, Anna Hill, Rose Mueller and Clara Herman; four brothers, Edward Helus, Tom Helus, Joe Helus and Jimmy Helus and a grandson, Edward Hoke.
Survivors include her daughter, Eunice Humphrey, Wills Point; grandson, Michael Hoke; great-grandchildren, Chandra Hoke, David Hoke, Carrie Hoke and Casey Hoke; great-great grandchildren, Rylen and Jorey.
