Services for Donna Carline Navarro Yarbrough, 70, Canton were held at 11 a.m., January 22 at Lakeside Baptist Church of Canton with Reverend Steve Glosup officiating under the direction of Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.
Mrs. Yarbrough passed away January 18, 2010 in Canton.
She had been a resident of Canton since 1998, formerly living in North Pole, Alaska. She had a very compassionate spirit and took great joy in helping others. She always found a way to contribute to others lives whether she was helping in nursing homes or at hospitality houses for young children. While she was active in Credit Women’s International, she found time to coach high school drill teams and was a devoted sports mom who was a very selfless and warm-hearted woman of God.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Yarbrough, Canton; son, Jerry Yarbrough, Anchorage, Alaska; daughters, Cindy Wright and husband, Jerry, Seattle, Washington, Sandy Rahn and husband, Dale, Anchorage, Alaska, and Pat Navarro, Las Vegas, New Mexico; sisters, Stella, Delia, Terry, Rita and Glenda; grandchildren, Brian, Brad, Brock, Breanne, Jessica, Holly and Nikki.
