Nealy Malone Grubbs

Funeral services for Nealy Malone Grubbs, 101, of Wills Point were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Mr. Ken Maddox officiating.

Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.

She passed away Sunday morning, January 24, 2010, in a Wills Point nursing home.

Nealy was born February 29, 1908, in Wills Point the daughter of John Malone and Victoria Jarosh Malone. She was raised in Wills Point where she graduated from high school. She married Alford Grubbs and he preceded her in death. She moved to Dallas in 1945 and was employed by Dallas Bank & Trust. Nealy moved back to Wills Point in 1997. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and the Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alford Grubbs on February 22, 1978; three brothers, Martin Malone, Manuel Malone and Ellis Malone; niece, Elaine Blair and a nephew, James M. Malone.

Survivors include her nephew, Tommy Malone and wife, Linda, of Wills Point; niece, Betty Isaacs, of Dallas; and several great-nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Pallbearers were Brad Malone, Marty Malone, Mike Isaacs, Aaron Long, Lance Rabenaldt and Manuel Lopez.
