Services for William Danny Garner, 68, Edgewood, were held at 10 a.m., January 30, at First Baptist Church in Edgewood with Rev. Don Burns officiating.
Burial followed at New Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Garner passed away January 26, 2010, at his home in Edgewood.
He was born May 15, 1941, in Waltreak, Arkansas, to William Velmon and Jewel Williams Garner. He grew up in and around Los Angeles, Calif. On March 6, 1976, in Poteau, Okla., Bill married Janice Sue Moore. They have made their home in Edgewood for the past thirty two years, where Bill was owner of Garner Industries and Race Car Products. He was also co-owner of Roto-Rooter in Russellville, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Garner and Jewel Clark, and sister, Lestine Adamson.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Garner, Edgewood; sons, Tony Garner and wife, Lorrae, California, Billy Garner and wife, Rebecca, Fruitvale and Daniel Garner, Wills Point; daughters, Cathy Soto and husband, Stacy, Georgia and Jennifer Johnson and husband, Corey, Edgewood; sister, Elaine "Kitty" Myers of Fort Smith, Ark.; brother, Erwin "Rebel" Myers, Fort Smith, Ark.; grandchildren, Shane Garner, Sean Garner, Christopher Soto, Samantha Soto, Jake Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Keith Garner, Kevin Garner, Gage Garner and DaniRay Garner.
