Thanks Share Scheduled For Saturday

Van United Methodist Church will host a Thanks Share at their Family Life Center on Saturday, November 7.  There will be a Country Store, sliced brisket dinner, entertainment, cakewalk, fellowship, and games.

The Country Store will open at 5 p.m., and dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. There will be a dinner of smoked brisket, potato salad, coleslaw, beans, and all of the trimmings.  Tickets may be purchased ahead of time by calling the church office at (903) 963-5563, Pat Percifield at (903) 963-7042, or various church members.  They will also be sold at the door.

The proceeds of the evening will go to help the youth with activities such as Big House for our Junior High Youth, UM ARMY for our Senior High Youth, summer church camp, and for the church in general, to pay toward general expenses.
