Two Tyler Men Arrested On Heroin Charges
Two men were arrested last week after Van Police Officer Preston Roberts made a traffic stop and found heroin in the vehicle the men were traveling in.
Joshua Levi Linden, 30, Tyler and Joshua Aaron Stensland, 30, Tyler were both charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Roberts stopped the vehicle that Linden was driving for speeding on Interstate 20.
According to a report by Roberts, both Linden and Stensland became very nervous as Roberts asked them questions.
The report went on to say that the vehicle belonged to a female passenger in the car and she gave him consent to search the vehicle.
Upon searching the vehicle, Roberts found eight black balls of heroin, two spoons with heroin residue and syringes. He also found various pills and a glass vile of Hydromorphone.
All three suspects were transported to the Van Police Department to be booked in. The female passenger was questioned and released.
