Graffiti Sprayed On Fence
A reward of $500 has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons that sprayed graffiti at the residence at 115 Juanita.
On or about the night of Sunday, December 13, a fence at the residence of Wills Point band director John Young was vandalized.
"It appears more than one actor was involved," said police chief Scott Johnson. "We believed they personally targeted Mr. Young due to his position at the high school, and the damage is estimated at $2,000."
The charge for the graffiti is felony criminal mischief, and a possible charge of retaliation on a public servant (teacher) could also be included.
Chief Johnson added that the graffiti was signed with the nickname Hoss.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers at Wills Point High School, or the Wills Point Police Department at (903) 873-2588.
