T & T Ironworks carries a variety of dining table sets

T & T Ironworks is located in the Arbor II Building on the First Monday Grounds and carries a wide variety of dining table sets, lighting, framed flags and bistro sets.

Todd and Tammy McLemore of Stamford, TX own ironworks.

"Our dining room tables are wood topped with an iron base and rustic style. We can make any size," said Tammy McLemore.

McLemore said that framed Texas and US flags are available, as well as, counter height and bar height tables and swivel bar stools.

"Todd and I make all of our merchandise. We design everything ourselves. I do most of the plasma cutting and Todd does all the welding. He also does most of the woodworking," said McLemore.

McLemore said they try very hard to have unique items for your home and also try to add new things very often.

T & T Ironworks also has many home accents including candle trays, centerpieces, crosses, coat racks, hat racks, wind chimes, ottomans and beds.

"We do a lot of custom building. For example, if you need a table that is 6-1/2 feet long to fit in your dining room, that is not a problem," said McLemore.

McLemore said most of the things they make have a rustic flair, but they have also made many other styles.

The McLemores have been at First Monday for five years and decided to come to First Monday when Todd’s job was going to cause a family move.

"Todd worked for an utility company for fifteen years and the company downsized. We would have had to move to stay with them. We would have had to move our children and both of our families live in the same town we do," said McLemore.

McLemore said that Todd had always welded and made things for her, so they decided to try bringing items to First Monday.

"When we first started, business was very slow but gradually our business has grown and we have been very happy with our decision to stay and raise our children in our hometown.

The McLemores live in Stamford, TX and have two daughters, Stephanie and Lauren.
