Softball Team Opens In Top Ten

With softball practises set to begin in less than two weeks, the Texas Girls Coaches Association softball poll has Van ranked in the top ten of the state.

The Lady Vandals will begin the season ranked No. 5 in the coaches poll. One regional opponent, Celina, is ranked No. 1, and a likely preseason opponent, Spring Hill is ranked No. 4

The rest of the poll has Needville at three, Fredricksburg six, Huntingon seven, Sweeney eight, Splendora nine and Huffman Hargraves ten.
