Wills Point Wins Texas Lineman Competition

Wills Point high school entered the Texas Lineman competition for the first time, and came away with a team title. The team competed against 16 teams from 10 schools. The win qualified Wills Point for the state competition to be held in Duncanville on July 8.

The competition includes events such a Medecine Ball Throw, Sandbag Relay, Fireman’s Carry, Bench Press, and Hand-Over-Hand Sled Pull.

The Wills Point team placed first in the Truck Push and Tractor Tire Flip.

Team member include, Truett Lewis, Tanner Sistrunk, J.K. Wilson, Cyle Henderson, Logan Cravens, Justin LaFrance, Chris Ross and Alex Anderson.
